Work for Wednesday - Thursday 


You have 3 DAYS of class - 6 CLASS PERIODS - and any time you decide to spend on it at home, get this essay finished. It is due this Friday, no later than 11:59 pm submitted electronically to DropBox.

  • Your task: Research your position on the topic including information to support your position as well as the opposition. Copy and paste the URL's and title of resources you found online. Compile any references you cite in your essay on a reference page (the last page of your essay).
  • Construct and essay that is the best essay you have written all year long.
  • Submit it by clicking on your class's submission page. ( 2/3, 4/5, or 8/9).



You have all the tools, only YOU can decide
to apply them for continual improvement.

STEPS for ESSAY CONTRUCTION

  1. Consider your position on this new initiative. Do you support this initiative or are you against it?
  2. Find more research in support of position, copy an paste the URL's of helpful sites you will be using in your citations.
  3.  Then find information and research that supports the opposing view, the position that is opposite of yours. This is important for your refutation paragraph in your argumentative essay.
 Don't forget to apply ALL writing skills and reading strategies you have developed
