Now you will write an expository essay. This means an information piece of writing.


Background Information


This week there are hundreds of high schoolers crossing the stage for graduation. Some students are going on to college, some are moving on to learn a trade, while others are going to find employment.

These students need advice about the life that lies ahead. After they cross the stage with their diploma in their hand, they will need to be able to make their own success, even though they are uncertain of what challenges await them, regardless of the path they choose after graduating.

You have been asked to write an article in the high school's newspaper in order to inspire and inform students about the importance of leadership in regards to their success. This edition is the last for the year. Your online published essay will also be emailed to all graduating seniors, to ensure they benefit from your wisdom regarding leadership.
